Princess Akojenu earned First Team All–South Region honors in the NCCAA Conference as a true freshman, capping an outstanding debut season. She finished third in the region in rebounding, recording 174 rebounds in 17 games for an average of 10.2 rebounds per game. She also ranked fourth in the NCCAA in field goal percentage, shooting an efficient 51.5% (86-of-167) from the field.

Akojenu delivered several impactful double-double performances in key moments throughout the season. Notably, she recorded 24 points and 19 rebounds against Paine College during the regular season. She elevated her performance even further in the South Region Conference Championship game against Paine College, finishing with a dominant 26 points and 24 rebounds.
