Under her guidance, the VUL women's basketball team rose in the national rankings, and the Lady Dragons made school history during the 2025-2026 NCCAA South Regional tournament by securing the program's first semi-final win and its first Finals appearance. Notably, point guard Lovely Tua Link ranked nationally in the top 25 in scoring for NCCAA, while standout player Princess Akojenu ranked in the top 3 in the country in rebounding and top 5 in field goal percentage for NCCAA. In another historical first, Akojenu and Tua-Link were named to 1st and 2nd team all-conference respectively; marking the first time in program history for a first team
selection.
